The complex includes a welcome lobby, a VIP area, offices, and of course, a warehouse; what’s more is that the entire structure has been constructed from shipping containers with an eye-catching sage green finish.

London's got one, New York's got one, and now Buenos Aires has a hip mall built with stacked shipping containers. Designed by BZZ Arquitectura, the QUO Container Center is comprised of 57 colorful painted steel boxes that shelter a small community of local businesses. Topped with a luscious green roof and solar panels, the mall features restaurants, offices, eco-friendly retail stores, as well as a gallery space with a cafe.

One of the most interesting projects I’ve seen so far is this wonderful guest house made out from a recycled shipping container. Because of the container’s shape and nature, there isn’t a a wide range of possibilities for decorating. People always take this as a challenge and in this case,the result turned out great. The container was painted blue and two sections were cut out and replaced with windows and big sliding doors.
